WHEEL
ROTATORS Available
in the speeds listed and used to rotate OPTI 6" Effect Wheels to
produce a constantly moving image. ½ rpm is recommended for the
Liquid Wheel and most other 6" Effect Wheels. The faster speeds may
be used for Distortion, Spektraflash and Fader wheels although these wheels
when used with slower speed rotators create softer smoother effects. Standard

OPTI Solar 250 FG2020W (White) The OPTI Solar 250
has been in production since 1973. It is used extensively throughout the
world. The OPTI Solar 250's simple classic design, ease of use, robust
engineering and wide range of accessories make it extremely versatile.
It is used across a wide spectrum of applications including mobile and
static entertainment and display. It is fitted as standard with an Osram
Xenophot quartz halogen 250 watt 24 volt lamp with an average life of
300 hours producing a 1200 lumen output at lens. An optional Iwasaki Eye
lamp is available with an average life of 2000 hours and an 800 lumen
output at lens. A Light Guard (FG2028) is available to attach to the underside
of the projector and prevent downward light spillage. TECHNICAL

OPTI K4 FG2033W (White) The OPTI K4 projects clear images over long distances or in high ambient light conditions. This makes the OPTI K4 ideal for in-store promotions, shopping malls, exhibitions, entertainment, and many other applications. Weighing just over 12kg the OPTI K4 is lightweight, cool and deceptively powerful for a projector of its size. The OPTI K4 is fitted with an MSR 575/2 metal halide lamp producing 4000 lumen light output at lens with an average life of 750 hours. The lamp is powered by an electronic ballast with automatic voltage sensing which allows the OPTI K4 to be used anywhere in the world. Multi Coloured 3" Effect Cassettes combine two pieces of glass, one static the other revolving to create movement. They can be used in any OPTI effects projector with either a Cassette Rotator or Six Cassette Autochanger. Liquid
Cassettes combine two layers of different colour liquids which constantly
move. Multi Coloured Cassettes combine the same design in two colourways screen printed onto different pieces of glass. Mono Coloured Cassettes combine two pieces ot glass screenprinted with the same design. Colours are: Pink, Green, Blue and Purple. Beam Cassettes are also silk screened. Used through a smoke haze they create 'laser like' animated beams of light. |

SOLAR PRISMS

Fit either the OPTI
Solar l00C or the Solar 250. Clip-on Prisms multiply the original image
2, 3 or 4 times. The Panoramic Rotator is a motorised vertical prism that
sends repeated images around the room. |
Silk screen inks are applied to the surface of the glass creating simple block colour image as shown below.
A recent example of Optikinetics products fitted to a club is at Harry's Bar in Weymouth, where numerous amounts of oil wheels where used.
